Comps Button

Send any Zillow or Redfin listing to NotedRE with one click.

One click on a listing and it's in NotedRE. No copy-pasting.

+ NotedRE

Drag this gold button onto your bookmarks bar

Set up (one time, 30 seconds)

  1. 1

    Show your bookmarks bar

Press ⌘ ⇧ B. Safari calls it the Favorites Bar (View > Show Favorites Bar).

  2. 2

Drag the gold button up onto the bar

Click and hold the gold + NotedRE button above, move it up to the bar, and let go.

Use it on a call

  1. 1

    Open the listing

Go to the home's own page on Zillow or Redfin (also works on most listing sites).

  2. 2

Click + NotedRE in your bookmarks bar

You'll see a small Sent to NotedRE ✓ note in the corner of the page.

  3. 3

File it in the NotedRE panel

On a live call, the panel shows the address, beds, baths and square feet, and highlights a best guess. Click Subject, As-Is comp or ARV comp. The offer stays up for about 2 minutes. If no call is running yet, the panel says "Listing copied. Start a call to add it."

Browser notes

Safari

Choose View > Show Favorites Bar (or ⌘ ⇧ B), then drag the button onto the Favorites Bar.

Firefox

Press ⌘ ⇧ B to show the Bookmarks Toolbar, then drag the button onto it.

Questions

Nothing happened

Make sure NotedRE is running on your Mac and the panel is open (press ⌘ J to show it). Then click the button again on the listing page itself, not on this page. If the page says "Press ⌘C to send to NotedRE", press ⌘ C once.

Does this send data anywhere?

No. The button only copies the page you're looking at to your clipboard on your Mac. NotedRE reads it from there, and nothing is uploaded by the button.

I clicked it here and nothing happened

That's normal. The button on this page is for dragging. Drag it to your bookmarks bar, then click it from there while you're on a listing.

It copied the wrong part of the page

Open the home's own page (or its pop-up card) first, then click the button. It picks the main listing details on the screen.
