NotedRE is operated by KCP Homebuyers ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information NotedRE handles, who it is shared with, and the choices you have.
What NotedRE does
NotedRE is a macOS app that transcribes your sales calls on your Mac and uses AI to write notes while you talk. Audio is processed on your Mac. We do not upload or store audio recordings.
What we collect
- Account email, used to sign you in and contact you about your account.
- Device names for the Macs you connect to your account.
- Usage minutes for the calls you run, used for billing and plan limits.
- Transcript snippets, sent during a call to our AI service provider (Anthropic) to generate your notes. We keep technical logs of AI requests (such as model and token counts), not the content.
- Backed-up calls, if "Back up calls to my account" is on (see below).
- Payment details are handled by Stripe. We never see your full card number.
Call backup
"Back up calls to my account" is on by default. When it is on, each finished call's notes, recap and transcript (along with details such as the seller name, property address, duration and outcome) are stored in your account so you can view them on the website and use Coach chat. You can turn backup off at any time in the menu-bar menu. Turning it off stops new uploads.
Coach chat
When you use Coach chat, we send the notes and transcript of the call you selected, plus your questions, to Anthropic to generate replies. We do not store your chats.
Who we share data with
We use these service providers to run NotedRE:
- Anthropic for AI note generation and Coach chat. Under Anthropic's commercial terms, API data is not used to train their models.
- Stripe for payments.
- Vercel for website and server hosting.
- Neon for our database.
- Resend for sending email, such as sign-in links.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use advertising trackers.
Your controls and retention
- Delete a single call, or all of your calls, from the website.
- Turn off backup to stop new calls from being uploaded.
- Ask us to delete your account by emailing privacy@notedre.com.
Stored calls are kept until you delete them or close your account. After an account is closed, we delete its data within 30 days.
Recording consent is your responsibility
Laws on recording and transcribing calls vary, and some states require every party's consent. You are responsible for following the laws that apply to you and for telling sellers when required. Information about sellers that appears in your transcripts is processed on your behalf.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS, and login and device tokens are stored hashed. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
Children
NotedRE is not intended for anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the update here with a new effective date.
